Music Lessons For Grown-Ups


Wednesday evenings, 7:30-8:30pm

February 13 to April 3, 2019

$120 for 8 weeks of group lessons

Please note that we are offering LEVEL 2 classes for ukulele, piano and violin. You must have the following experience to participate in these classes:


  • Know the names of the strings
  • Be able to read fretboard chord symbols
  • Be able to strum some basic patterns
  • Be able read rudimentary tablature
  • Be able to play the primary chords in C, G and F (these include chords C, G, F, D, Bb, Am, Em, Bm)


  • General understanding of how to hold the instrument and bow
  • Know the names of the strings
  • Very basic note reading abilities 


  • Know the names of the keys and have a basic understanding of how to move around the keyboard
  • Basic note reading abilities

BYOI – Bring Your Own Instrument (except pianos!)
Need help finding a suitable instrument to practice on at home? Try Long & McQuade Musical Instruments for inexpensive rentals of violins, cellos, and clarinets. Need a ukulele? Check out the AC Hunter Public Library. If you need a keyboard, Project Grace can help.

Beginner Piano and Beginner Violin Lessons For Children

We have space available in our 4:30-5:30pm Thursday afternoon lessons for Beginner Violin and Beginner Piano Lessons.

These classes are for children grades 2 to 6.

Lessons run from January through June 2019.

$150 per child

Students will need an instrument to practice on at home. Project Grace has limited instruments available for rental. We can also assist in finding an instrument through the AC Hunter Public Library or Long & McQuade Musical Instruments.

Participation can begin immediately upon submission of the registration form (below) and remittance of payment.
