Who We are …
Project Grace is an innovative music education program with a social justice imperative. We offer after school music lessons, summer camps and adult community programming.
The program was created in response to a need for a cost-free program to provide children in St. John’s the opportunity to learn music together and develop personally and socially. Since its inception, Project Grace has been enthusiastically received and enrollment continues to grow, providing evidence of its importance and success in the community. A majority of students in the program are from families who have recently arrived in Canada. The program offers them a much-needed opportunity to be engaged in their community and provide a smooth transition into life in St. John’s.
Project Grace is the first program of its kind, in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
